At Jawesome Smiles, we bring gentle, preventive dental care directly to your home, creating a relaxed and familiar experience for your child.
Home visits can be especially beneficial for children attending their first dental appointment, those who feel nervous or anxious, or children who are Autistic, neurodivergent, or have sensory sensitivities. Our home visits focus on prevention, education and early intervention, helping families establish healthy oral health habits from the very beginning. We work closely with parents and carers, providing personalised advice on toothbrushing, diet, fluoride use, oral development and cavity prevention, while answering any questions you may have. Our goal is to empower families with the knowledge and confidence to support their child's oral health, making dental care a positive and enjoyable part of growing up. |

INITIAL EXAMINATION/ASSESSMENT $100-$150The first appointment will take a bit longer as we need to ask you lots of questions and we are sure you will have lots of questions for us too! Included in our appointment time will be a thorough assessment of the mouth and structures including teeth, gums, lips, cheeks, tongue, jaw. We will also screen your childs dental growth and development, and provide toothbrushing demonstration and instruction. We can review your childs nutrition for any concerns that may contribute to dental disease.
Appointment time: up to 60-90 min |

FOLLOW UP EXAMINATION/CHECK-UP $80-$100 (if needed) This appointment is usually 3-9 months after the initial examination/check up, and is shorter as we are generally following up if there are any changes since the initial examination.

CLEAN $50-$100This appointment includes the removal of plaque, and/or calculus (tartar). We may use a disclosing solution that highlights the plaque and calculus.

REMINERALISATION $50-$100Some teeth at a higher risk of developing tooth decay may benefit from an application of fluoride or another remineralising agent. We will discuss your child's suitability and the options available.

Family Package $POAOur family package includes a reduced rate per child for multiple children and/or for adults having teeth whitening at the same session.

Extra Support Care Packages $POAOur extra support care packages are for children who need a little extra support, including autistic and neurodivergent children, as well as those who feel anxious, nervous or fearful about dental visits. Packages are tailored to a child’s individual need and may include familiarisation and desensitisation appointments to gradually build confidence and comfort before progressing towards gentle dental care. Our assessments may include gathering information on the child's general growth and development as this may help in providing appropriate referral pathways to other health care professionals such as; orthodontists, speech pathologists, ears nose throat specialists, and pediatric dentists.

We can work alongside your child’s trusted family dentist to provide additional support, helping your child build confidence and feel more comfortable with dental care.
VEGAN FRIENDLY CARE
We aim to offer vegan-friendly dental care wherever clinically appropriate, with consideration given to products and materials used during treatment. Please let us know if you have any preferences so we can discuss suitable options.

- In-home appointments on Sydney's Northern Beaches have no travel fee
- All other areas outside of Sydney's Northern Beaches is by negotiation and may incur a flat travel fee of $20-$50
- Deposit required to secure all bookings
